"I first saw Crystal Sea at Café’ Destino in Bremerton,
Washington. I was immedediatly intrigued by her, as
well as her artwork. The mysterious ambiance of her
work provoked a feeling of providence.
Her art induced within me a deep, soulful resonation
that was complex, and yet, very simple. It was nature
and thought, loneliness and acceptance, strength and
fragileness.
Her art was a prism of complex emotions that was fluid
and free. It was through Crystal’s art I found the perfect
gift for my mentor, friend and cousin, who is living with
stage IIIC ovarian cancer. I sought to find an artist that
understood the emotions of life with cancer. I wanted
something to give to my dear friend that was real and
raw, as well as gentle with truth. I found this healing
through Crystal’s art.
Giving my cousin a painting by Crystal was so much
more than a gift. It was an expression of hope and
understating that healing can take place, no matter
what the circumstance.
I also had the pleasure of winning a bid of a Crystal
Sea print at a Seattle’s Gilda’s House charity auction.
Crystal’s generous commitment to raising funds for
people with cancer is a testimony of her benevolence."
Thank you Crystal!
